Intellectual Property Claims
Hi, I’m James Walker, founder of TroopStyle and proud son of a Vietnam Veteran. I take matters of originality and ownership very seriously. If you believe that something on our site infringes your intellectual property rights, I want you to feel confident reaching out to me directly.
How to Report an Issue
Please email me at james@troopstyle.com with as much detail as you can. In your message, include:
- What work or intellectual property you believe has been infringed (registration numbers if applicable).
- A description of the content in question and where it appears on our website.
- Your full contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement affirming that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
What Happens Next
Once I receive a valid notice, our policy is to review it quickly and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the content in question. If we believe the removal was a mistake, we may follow up with a counter-notice, and the content could be restored unless legal action is taken by the original rights holder.
A Word of Caution
Please note: knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can have legal consequences, including being held responsible for damages and attorney’s fees. That’s why I ask for honesty and good faith when you submit a claim.
